Facial Skin Analysis
Facial Skin Analysis
At Skin Within Aesthetics we offer bespoke aesthetic and skincare plans that are tailored to your specific skin goals. Using in-depth skin analysis we are able to better understand your skin type and instantly identify areas of concerns, such as dehydration, skin sensitivities, spots or hyperpigmentation.
Utilising a Digital Skin Analysis System we can accurately discover and diagnose a range of skin conditions, even in their early stages, and can use this data to tailor a personalised skincare regime that addresses your skin’s specific needs.
We use a MEICET MC10 Skin Analysis device in our clinics that uses patented fluorescent and polarised light technology to accurately diagnose skin conditions, even in their early stages.
With this cutting-edge technology, we conduct a professional analysis of your skin, uncovering damage and signs of ageing beneath the surface that may go unnoticed by the human eye.
This enables us to gain valuable insights into your specific skin concerns for optimal skincare results.
This incredible technology opens the opportunity to have a more in-depth consultation with us to discuss how we can support your skin health – it will pinpoint key areas and either specific products, protocols or treatments that will be of benefit for you and your skin.
At Skin Within Aesthetics our aim is to provide our patients with expert knowledge and guidance regarding their skin concerns so they feel 100% confident when making their choices.
In your consultation we will talk you through a full and thorough discussion of your concerns, needs and expected results allowing us to create a bespoke treatment plan for you. A detailed medical history will be completed and every aspect of your treatment will be discussed ensuring complete confidence in your chosen treatments.

Skin Analysis works by taking high resolution images of your face with the Digital Skin Analysis system. Using 5 spectra images which are UV, Woods Lamp, parallel polarised, crossed polarised and RGB (red, green and blue) to provide a complete and thorough overview of your skin’s condition. These are then reviewed by our experts who can then offer tailored advice and recommendations based on your skin concerns.
When administered by an experienced and medically trained practitioner the analysis is very safe.
It’s exactly like having your photograph taken, so not painful at all.
This varies depending on your skin condition, if you are experiencing relatively healthy skin and not treating any specific skin conditions, we recommend reviewing every 3 months. If treating a specific skin condition, then we recommend a review every 4-6 weeks.
This treatment is normally charged at £75 for a bespoke skin analysis, however we do offer a complimentary review when booked with other treatments or procedures. Please speak to your practitioner at your consultation about including a skin analysis in your next treatment.
